Beautiful Amnesia

The move has been a nightmare, but Sebastian has been very brave for a fluffy thing. He’s now very settled in and is a big source of comfort during the many stressed out moments of hysteria I have been prone to in the last week or so. I mean a champagne bottle cork hit the brand new ceiling and made a nice little dint when we popped the bottle. Nicely christianed I say. I won’t go into other little nightmares. But yes, we are here. The actual packing and moving was a horror movie x 10. I am rightly traumatized.

Thank god for fluffy cats and Bejeweled Blitz.

There was an unexpected jam heading towards the bridge today. What would normally have taken five minutes crawled along interminably for close to 40 minutes. What was annoying was that they didn’t even put a sign up beforehand warning drivers of the numerous closed lanes.

We got there eventually. Playing Spoonbill at top volume helped pass the time

Ever since we moved buildings at the end of last year, I have had to walk through this divine little passageway to and from the car park at work. I have always adored this little print of a red and orange firebird. She always catches my attention … every weekday, without fail.

I survive on these at work. They keep me going when I skip breakfast or if I am late for lunch. Great for after food too. Thank god for Eclipse Mints!
